She first learned that Jesus loved her at age 8 but has spent the last 36 years of her life learning how to love Him back and share that love with others. She finds great joy in sharing Christ's love by serving and speaking to adults and children. However, her heart is to love & encourage women, so they know they are seen and valued by the Almighty God.
Through working in the homeschool community & speaking opportunities she points women to fix their eyes on Jesus and reminds them that the messes of life do not disqualify us from our mission. On the contrary, Jesus brings a message from the very messes that try to keep us isolated and discouraged.
The originator of The Messy Sisterhood and a self-proclaimed "defeated perfectionist." Charlie's goal with this community is to create a space of encouragement for women of all generations, backgrounds, and denominational influences to feel seen and heard. So often women are serving our communities and families but lack a safe space to be seen and served. Instead of feeling like you are watching your life happen, join us and share your journey with other sisters who are in the trenches of life too!
God didn't create us to be islands, but to share together the burdens and struggles of this life with each other so that we can do more than survive each day. We can THRIVE! You are not "just a mess." We are all a #messinprogress! God is showing you a message in that mess and sculpting a #miracleinthemaking! Did you realize that is what God sees in you? He knew this world needed exactly what you have inside you! The enemy wants you to focus on what seems like a mess, but God wants you to know you are in the process of producing a miracle!
So, join in our weekly Facebook live videos ("Thursday Thoughts"), seasonal book clubs, monthly fasts, and/or in-person day conferences. Start to ask God to reframe what you see as your "mess." Ask Him to show you some progress towards your miracle. It won't just fall in your lap! You gotta be on purpose about this life.
We need to give each other courage one to stay focused during the storms this life throws at us. We must stay centered in the Word of God & not rely on others to tell us what God says but know the truth for ourselves. We have got to stop playing the comparison game and start making each day count for our hearts, our families, our callings.
It really doesn't matter what you have been through, are walking through or are afraid of --
